Marriage License for Utah Elopement

Getting married in Zion National Park, yep need a marriage license. Here is how.

Marriages licenses are applied for by the couple. This should be done one to four weeks before the wedding. Couples will apply for them at a County Clerk’s Office. A license from any county in Utah can be used anywhere in Utah.

The couple, along with the two witness and the officiant, sign the license the day of the wedding. The officiant then send the signed license to the respective clerk’s office.

An online application and license is available through Utah County Clerk/Auditor office. You apply online and then receive an email that you forward to your officiant. The officiant verifies the witnesses and signs the application digitally online. You then receive the completed marriage license and marriage certificate in the mail.
