Most people have never eloped. This means you probably have questions and you probably do not have a person you can ask to get the help or information from. Here are the most common questions I get asked. If you do not find the answer you need here please reach out and ask. I would love to answer all of your questions.


General questions about weddings and Outland Adventures.

  • Short answer is 10-20 minutes. The length of a ceremony will depend on a few variables such as location, style, and whether the couple wishes to exchange personal vows.

    Some locations allow a ceremony to only last 10 minutes to allow other people to view the area.

  • The couple is the only people that can apply for a SUP (Special Use Permit) to get married in Zion National Park.

    But do not worry! it is easy and HERE are the step by step instructions with links to apply for the SUP.

  • Yes, although the price of travel will be added to the invoice price. You can view all pricing on the Officiant Services tab.



Questions about Zion and Bryce Canyon weddings.

  • Yes! You will need a permit, but there are six locations that you are allowed to get married at inside Zion National Park. View the six locations and more information about getting married in Zion by clicking HERE

  • The application process is quick and easy. You can find full instructions HERE.

    Getting your permit letter back may take a few weeks, depending on how busy the SUP desk is at the time of application



Questions about getting married in Utah.

  • Couples have a couple or options when applying for a marriage license.

    Online- Couples can apply and be issued a marriage license online. This allows the to have a license before they ever head to Utah. Instructions for applying online can be found on the “How To” tab under “Get a Utah marriage license
