Great news for all the love the beauty of the red rock desert, Snow Canyon State Park is accepting applications for special use permits to have weddings in the park again. The Snow Canyon State Park had stopped allowing weddings because of COVID-19.
Before you rush off to try and get married in the park, make sure you plan accordingly and have you permit. There are some steps to take, timelines to adhere to, and restrictions on dates. To have a wedding in Snow Canyon State Park without a permit puts you at risk of a $600 fine!
Applications need to be turned in to Snow Canyon State Park at least 30 days before your wedding. For complete details visit the Snow Canyon State Park website linked here. They have prepared a guide to planning a wedding in the park with all the permitting instructions.
There are fees associated with the application process and during the wedding.
